Mary Katherine (Griffin) Noles, 95, of North Little Rock was born September 29, 1922 in Luxora, Arkansas and passed from this life on May 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Noles, parents, John Henry Griffin and Mary Pearl (Montague) Griffin and brothers John Lloyd Griffin and Henry Floyd Griffin. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Paul Edward (Donna) Noles, Richard Henry (Cheryl) Noles and Mary Frances (Kenneth) Daniel; six grandchildren, Johnathan Paul Noles, Amy Katherine Raney, John David Daniel, Sean Patrick Noles, Jennifer Kay Daniel and Joseph Wayne Daniel along with 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Katherine graduated from Osceola High School in Osceola, Arkansas. Upon graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. where she worked for the Health Department until the end of WWII. On July 1, 1945, she married John and they were happily wed for 66 years until John's death on July 18, 2011. Katherine was employed by the Federal Government as an Administrator of the Selective Service in Osceola. She became the Auditor for Selective Services offices throughout Arkansas, which required her to move to North Little Rock. Katherine and John enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada in their Holiday Rambler making many friends along the way. Katherine was a member of Somers Avenue Church of Christ for many years. A Graveside service honoring Katherine will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 4th at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy. 5 in Alexander, Arkansas. Online guest book at www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
