James Wesley North

James Wesley North, 77, of Coal Hill, Ark., passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Clarksville, Ark. James was born October 6, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Alfred North Jr. and Ruth Mae (Taylor) North. Wesley served our country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed going to Casinos and horse races with his friends, reading western novels and watching westerns on television, and spending time with his dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Linda Lee North, and sister, Rita North. James is survived by a daughter, Sharon North of Coal Hill, Ark.; brother, Toni and Karen North of Kansas City; Aunt Dorothy Taylor of Mt. Vernon, Ark.; sisters-in-law, Virginia Hall and Nita Hall; numerous cousins, niece and nephews. Memorial Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Suanne Morgan officiating. The family and friends will gather at the senior citizens center for a meal and fellowship after the service.
