James W. "Chuck" Johnson of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with The Lord September 4, 2018. He retired after 35 years of service as a sales representative in the freight industry. He also retired from Pulaski County Delinquent Real Estate Office. Chuck served 14 years in the Beebe National Guard. He was a member of Beebe First Baptist Church and a 32nd Degree Mason in the Beebe Masonic Lodge. He played professional baseball with the Yankees organization. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Johnson of Beebe; two sons, Charles (Jan) Johnson of Cabot and Jerry (Robin) Johnson of Hazen; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Scott Johnson of Beebe. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Verl and Blanch Johnson; his first wife, Billie Dean Johnson; one son, Don Johnson; and one sister, Judy Johnson. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
