June Dorothy Jackson

June Dorothy Jackson, 88, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Little Rock. She was born June 28, 1930 in Mildenhall, England to the late Sidney James and Doris Ellen Fenn Rolph. June liked traveling, reading and going to church. She was very active with her Sunday school class and enjoyed dining out with her friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Iris Estela and her brother, Sidney Rolph. June is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Delvin Ray Jackson; daughter, Tracey Matthews of Traverse City, Michigan; son, David (Suzi) Jackson of Wynne, Arkansas; five grandchildren, A.J. (Tiffany) Jackson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kristin (Dalton) Denny of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Clayton Jackson of Wynne, Arkansas, John Matthews and Lauren Matthews of Traverse City, Michigan; three great-grandchildren, Tielur Hinkle, Vivian Jackson and Cason King. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Marshall Road Baptist Church, 821 Marshall Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076 with Brother Cliff Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120.
